Toyota says goodbye to the Land Cruiser 

As Toyota’s off-road SUV the current generation of Land Cruiser has been on the market since 2007. Toyota has confirmed that the company will be retiring the Land Cruiser. Keep reading to learn more about the end of the J200-generation of the Land Cruiser.

More about the J200-generation Land Cruiser 

As we mentioned before, this generation of Land Cruiser was introduced in 2007. In its 14 years in the market, there have been two updates to the model. While this specific generation is retiring after 2021, there will be a next-generation model introduced soon. 

The future of the Land Cruiser 

Toyota is dedicated to growing its SUV segment. The Land Cruiser will have a next-generation model sold in the United States but as for when the timeline is uncertain. The new generation will be expected to be more modern and luxurious compared to previous generations. Some talk suggests there will be a V8 engine rather than a turbocharged V6 engine. Some believe there could be an introduction of hybrid models. Keep in mind, all of this information is just talk and no facts are completely certain.
