The 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off-Road includes all of the standard features found inside the base SR5 trim in addition to wider wheels, multi-terrain select off-road settings and a locking rear differential. A kinetic dynamic suspension system is optional. A Premium variant of the TRD Off-Road trim is also available and adds a navigation system, heated front seats, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and an upgraded 6.1-inch touchscreen display.
The other off-roading trim available for the 2019 4Runner is the TRD Pro trim. This trim includes revised front springs, all-terrain tires, a special front skid plate, a roof rack and automatic headlights in addition to the TRD Off-Road Premium trim’s standard features.

A 4.0-liter V6 engine paired with a five-speed automatic transmission system powers every 2019 Toyota 4Runner. This engine produces 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque. This engine allows the 2019 Toyota 4Runner to achieve a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds.

Daytime running lights, turn signal mirrors, rear door child safety locks, LATCH child seat anchor points, dual front side-mounted airbags, an engine immobilizer, emergency braking assistance, stability control and a remote anti-theft alarm system all come standard in every 2019 4Runner model.
